Here's my fourth poetry chapbook, Citizen of Metropolis, featuring poems about imagining being a citizen in Superman's hometown, Beowulf at Breakfast, and a literal take on "Rock-a-bye Baby."

I have three chapbooks of poetry available for purchase. Each book is $12, plus $2.50 postage. That's less than one dollar per poem which is, you know, a steal.

My first chapbook, If You Find Yourself Submerged in a Pond Under Ice, was published by Kattywompus Press. It contains poems about my transgender journey. These poems eventually led to the one-person play I performed, Exact Change, which later became a one-person feature film of the same name. For more information on the film, visit exactchangethefilm.com.

My second chapbook is titled Thin Chance, or How to Get a Reputation as a Dick. It bears the subtitle: featuring the humorous poetic stylings of Christine Howey. As you might guess, the poems in this book tend to be, or are intended to be, funny. You be the judge. (Published by Kattywompus Press)

My third book, Playing Tennis with the Net Down, is published by Night Ballet Press. It contains both serious and humorous poems on subjects ranging from the Radium Girls to the Lifetime Channel.

Thanks for your interest in poetry! Mine in particular!

All best,

Christine
